DAY 1 : CASABLANCA ARRIVAL AND HOTEL TRANSFER

13 day tour across Morocco from Casablanca to desert in private travel starts today and our driver meets you at the Casablanca Mohammed Airport. Then we transfer you to your hotel in the city and we will visit the city main sights and monuments including an optional visit to the Hassan II. Overnight in local hotel.

DAY 2 : CASABLANCA - RABAT -  CHEFCHAOUEN

Today we drive to Rabat - founded in 10th century to explore Hassan Tower, an unfinished minaret of the great Hassan Mosque. We visit the Mausoleum of Mohammmed V and Hassan II followed by walk in the Kasbah of the Ouidais, fortress that was once a city itself and later lair of pirates. Then we drive to Chefchaouen. Overnight in local riad.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN IN RIF MOUNTAINS

Free program in Chefchaouen , visiting the medina and surrounding area. The city lies between the “horns’ hence the name. Overnight in local hotel.

DAY 4: TRANSFER FROM CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES

Today after breakfast we drive to the ruins of the former Roman outpost that is Volubilis. Enjoy optional guided tour. Then off to Meknes, which was the first capital of the Alouite Dynasty. Our journey continues to Fes where we spend this night.

DAY 5: FES CITY GUIDED TOUR

Today we explore the oldest city in Morocco walking through its narrow streets and alleys. We visit the door of the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarters and we will visit all important sites with historical and cultural attractions. We do not miss the famous Al Qaraouine University as the oldest in the region, you visit famous tanneries in medina. We experience a wonderful panoramic view over the Fes and in the afternoon, you visit the new town. Accommodation in the riad.

DAY 6: FES - MIDELT -  MERZOUGA

Today after breakfast, we will travel to a beautiful mountain village Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We will experience glimpses of the Medium Atlas Mountains and high Atlas. Stopping in Azrou ­in the middle of the famous cedar forest we will have the opportunity to see some apes, Barbary. You will travel to Midelt and we drive via Errachidia to Merzouga. We stop for panoramic pictures in the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arriving in the afternoon to Merzouga, we checking in to our desert hotel.

DAY 7: ERG CHEBBI DESERT 4X4 EXCURSION

After breakfast at the hotel, you can explore the area. You will visit the Gnawa people originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience his music and lifestyle, while not far away is the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations. You may also want to visit the house where many nomadic Berber wire crafts have a lower price than in big cities. In the afternoon it’s time for the camel ride, guided by an experienced camel man where you will explore Merzouga sand sea. Dinner is in front of the store where you spend the night camp.

DAY 8: MERZOUGA CAMLE RIDE - TODRA VALLEY - DADES GORGES

You will wake up early in the morning to see what may be the best sunrise of your life after which you can camel­ trek back to the village of Merzouga, admiring the unique beauty of the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi ­ changing light as the day progresses. After breakfast at the Riad, you will stop in Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorges ­ the taller, narrow gorges in Morocco. Lunch at the heart of the gorge above a walk through the valley of Dades, where you will see the majestic sand castles and amazing rock formations known as “monkey fingers”. Overnight in our hotel / Riad.

DAY 9: DADES - OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

We start the morning by viewing amazingly dramatic Dades Gorge with high cliffs of limestone and weirdly shapped erosions. Then we set onto the road of Thousand Kasbah passing Rose Valley (beautiful in April to May) and Skoura Oasis reaching the city of Ouarzazate. Not far from Ouarzazate we stop to visit the oldest and finest example of fortified city - Ait Ben haddou. After our visit we continue across the High Atlas Mountains over dramatic drive offering splendid views to Marrakech.

DAY 10: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR IN CITY

After breakfast, we visit the best of Marrakech with a local guide. We explore narrow streets, full of smells, feelings … market of leather, we explore main Jamaa el Fna square. We enjoy view of Koutoubia Mosque and Bahia Palace: The palace building and this was done in over a decade, and its interior is full of rooms decorated majestically. Accommodation for this night in Marrakech.

DAY 11: MARRAKECH DAY TRIP OF YOUR CHOICE (OUZOUD WATERFALLS OR OURIKA VALLEY)
